Profile Hoses with Plastic or Steel Spiral
Profiled hoses are made from one or more profiled, extruded profiles. They always contain a spiral (made of plastic or steel wire), which is either embedded directly during extrusion or added later during hose finishing. Profiled hoses are very smooth on the inside, have a low weight, are axially rigid and yet very flexible. There are three different types of profiled hoses with plastic spiral reinforcement. A self-supporting structure made from a single extruded profile, constructions made from two or more extruded profiles in which the outer profile serves as a reinforcing spiral, and constructions using the co-extrusion process in which an extruded reinforcing spiral is integrated into an extruded profile.

Film Hoses with Plastic or Steel Spiral
Film hoses consist of non-profiled, flexible plastic films that are spirally welded and/or sewn with a reinforcing helix, making them particularly suitable for lightweight applications and for conveying gases and bulk materials. They offer excellent resistance to chemical influences and are particularly flexible, which makes them suitable for applications with tight bending radii. The Schauenburg Hose Technology Group's film hoses are characterised by their high quality and versatility. Thanks to modern production technologies and the use of high-quality materials, they offer outstanding abrasion resistance, a long service life and excellent impermeability.

Clamping Hoses / Clip Hoses
Clamp profile hoses, also known as clip hoses, are very flexible hoses and are made from one or more straps and a clamping profile. The straps are connected to the clamping profile, whereby the special clamping profile geometry and an additional reinforcing wire inserted into the clamp ensure a secure and stable connection. In addition to its clamping effect, the clamping profile provides the hose with enormous abrasion protection, while at the same time the hoses are very flexible and compressible. The properties and application range of the hose are largely determined by the clamped straps and the number of layers. The clamping profile hoses from the Schauenburg Hose Technology Group are characterised by their exceptional robustness and flexibility.

Yarn Reinforced Hoses
Braided reinforced hoses consist of at least two layers of plastic between which reinforcing threads, laid or woven, are inserted to give the hose additional strength and flexibility. These hoses are particularly robust and resistant to mechanical stress, compression and pressure conditions. The Schauenburg Hose Technology Group's fabric-reinforced hoses offer outstanding performance in demanding applications. Through the use of advanced materials and precise manufacturing techniques, they offer an excellent combination of flexibility, resistance to high temperatures and high compressive strength.

Flat Hoses
Flat hoses are flexible hoses that can be folded flat when empty. This feature makes them particularly space-saving and easy to transport, which makes them ideal for a wide range of applications. They are often made of robust materials such as PVC or synthetic fabrics, which ensure high durability and long service life. They are used in various applications, e.g. in agriculture (irrigation), construction (water drainage or pumping), industry (chemical or oil transport) and in firefighting and emergency response operations. Thanks to their construction, flat hoses are often designed for high operating pressures.

Corrugated Hoses
Corrugated hoses are flexible hoses with a corrugated or ribbed outer structure. This design gives them exceptional flexibility and stability without compromising strength. They are made from materials such as plastic (e.g. PVC or polyethylene) using a longitudinal extrusion process. In contrast to the mono-extruded hose, the corrugated hose requires subsequent shaping system components (blow mould).

Monoextruded Hoses
Mono-extruded hoses, manufactured using an extrusion process, consist of a single, homogeneous material. These hoses offer a particularly high resistance to chemical influences and mechanical stress, as they have no layers or joints that could potentially represent weak points. The Schauenburg Hose Technology Group's mono-extruded hoses are characterized by their exceptional quality and durability. Thanks to state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and precise material selection, they guarantee high flexibility, excellent abrasion resistance and a long service life, even under extreme operating conditions.
