What is aquaculture and why is it important?

The requirements for this form of food production are high. In many applications, compliance with the Norwegian standard NS 9416:2013 is mandatory. This is a regulation for the implementation of technical standards in the field of land-based aquaculture to prevent fish from escaping from these facilities.
